The ONE electrical heating element allows the radiator to be powered electronically, meaning its plugged into your electrics, rather than plumbed into your central heating system. This means it can be used all year round, as you don’t need to turn the boiler on.
They are pre-filled with oil during the manufacturing process, which makes them extremely easy to install.
During designing the ONE electric element, Terma had the goal to create an element that doesn’t dominate the design of the radiator its installed into. This element is an extremely sleek and simple design which makes it blend in with the overall design of the radiator effortlessly.
The ONE element has two heating levels as well as an automatic switch-off mode after 2 hours. A sensitive electronic sensor allows the device to maintain a set temperature and the device shows the current mode using a multi-coloured LED. It has very low power consumption in standby mode and all the functions are controlled by just one button.
The element is equipped with a number of safety features including a ‘frost’ protection setting and double protection against overheating. In the event of power failure, the element remembers the last setting used, which is especially useful when the device is controlled by external timers.
The element is capable of wireless IR communication with an external wall controller, which enhances the use of the ONE heating element with additional features. At Heating Style, we have the Terma DTIR Infrared Daily Controller, which allows you to program the device in 15-minute intervals within a 24-hr period. We also have the TTIR Infrared Weekly Controller, which allows you to program your desired ‘heating time profiles’ in certain modes throughout the 7 days of the week.
